Thomas "Coach Tom" Scott Thompson

Thomas “Beaver”Thompson passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on July 12, 2025. Known by those who knew him as Beaver, and by the youth of Exeter as Coach Tom,  He leaves behind a legacy of passion for sports and love for his community. Beaver lived in Exeter his whole life. He was dedicated to caring for others—his mom, Patty, who preceded him in death, the countless student athletes who he coached and mentored, and his wife Juli, and her children whom he loved deeply. He leaves behind his wife Juli Thompson and her children Andrew and Willow, his brother Steven Thompson, and a large extended family.  The impact he had on so many lives will live forever. 

A memorial will be held at the Exeter Eagles Lodge on  July 26th at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Coach Tom Memorial Scholarship Fund.
