Rosalyn Janelle Gayden, age 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 to go be in the loving arms of Jesus. She was born on November 18, 1940.
Janelle was a loving and devoted mother whose life was centered around her family and service to others. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years and was a volunteer at the farm Show for several years, giving generously of her time and talents. She found great joy in traveling in her RV to Lake Havasu and the Central Coast, creating beautiful knitted and crocheted items, and sharing those gifts with loved ones. Janelle’s kindness, quiet strength, and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Don Robets: stepdaughter Michelle Gayden (Frank); stepson Eric Garden; grandson Nick Robers; granddaughter Jaimee Roberts; sisters Diane Martin and Lynn Delgado; brother Chuck Phillips (Teresa); and her niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia Phillips, and her beloved husband, Bert Gayden.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Farmersville Free Will Baptist Church, 239 S. Dode Ave. Farmersville, California. Burial will take place at a later date at the Exeter District Cemetery. Janelle will be remembered with love and gradtitude for a life well lived and a legacy of devotion to her family.
