Nona Gayle Baker

Nona Gayle Griffith Baker was born to Jake and Nomel (Treat) Griffith on April 22,1948. She passed away on September 16, 2026 at the age of 78. Nona was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born in Arkansas and resided in the Visalia area since childhood. She graduated from
Redwood High School in 1966. Nona married her high school sweetheart Jerry Baker in 1966. They enjoyed a total of 49 years together before Jerry passed in 2012.
Survivors include her children, Dan and (Deanne) Baker, (Josh) and Jamie Rowlett, 7 grandchildren Tyler (Katie) Baker, Kylie (Jackson) Fulfer, Cody (Amy) Baker, Garrett
(Tarah) Baker, Jake, Elle, and Wade Rowlett and 10 great-grandchildren Gage, Reagan, Rhett, and Emmett Baker, Norah and Leland Fulfer, Colt and Chase Baker,
Cora and Hayes Baker. She was also predeceased by her parents, sister Cathy and brother Stanley.
The family would like to thank the staff at Quail Park-Shannon Ranch and Bristol Hospice for the care they provided Nona.
Visitation will be Wednesday September 23, 2026 from 5 to 7 PM at Smith Family Chapel in Exeter CA. Graveside services will be held Thursday September 24, 2026 at
10 AM at Exeter District Cemetery.
