On Monday April 17, 2023, Max Edward Sweeney passed away unexpectedly at the age of 58 years. Max was born on October 23, 1964 in Exeter, California. the son of Betty Lou Sweeney and Aaron Dale Sweeney. He was the youngest between himself and his sister Kelly Elaine Gillis (Sweeney). He graduated from Woodlake High School in 1982. He is survived by his three daughters and one son. Sabrina Quintero, Crystal Veldhuizen, Erin Sweeney, Max and his first wife Tricia Saucedo welcomed their son Christopher to the world in 1991. Later in 2003, Max and his second wife Melissa Carman welcomed their daughter Erin. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren. Jeremiah Quintero, Beau Flud, Felicity Flud, Brantley Flud, Feenyx Flud, Gage Sweeney, Jasmine Sweeney, Artemis Quintero, Honoria Fryasvolk, and Drengr Fryasvolk. Max loved to go fishing, camping, and going to the coast. His wish is to have his ashes scattered in San Simeon, California. In Max's free time when he went fishing or camping he was accompanied by his best friend who also happened to be his cousin Jay Ragsdale. Now they have been reunited in heaven, most likely fishing again like old times. When Max was working he was cleaning pools, he even created his own pool cleaning business named, Maximum Pools. Max will be greatly missed by his mother Betty, sister Kelly, his grandma Hattie Matthews, and his cousin Jay.
A celebration of Max's life will take place on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1706 E. Tulare Ave., Visalia....
