Marshall Lee Keys, beloved husband of the late Alma Mae Keys, and devoted father of the late James Kirk Keys and Mark Douglas Keys, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, at the age of 95.
Marshall was born on June 20, 1930, in Hart, Missouri, to Floyd and Myrtle Lena (Coday) Keys. He later made his home in the Lindsay community, where he became a well-known and respected local businessman.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Marshall worked for many years in the family business, Keys Upholstery, in Lindsay. He also served as General Manager of the Lindsay Safeway store. Marshall was a graduate of Exeter Union High School, Class of 1948.
Marshall will be lovingly remembered by his three granddaughters, Julie Sayre (Jim) of Visalia, McKenna Keys (Tom) of Santa Rosa, and Elyssa Miller (Cody) of Flagstaff. He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren, Nathan and Emily Vidusic, Coro Woolcott, and Callie Mae Miller, as well as his loving sister, Lois Irene Thompson of Oklahoma.
Marshall was a cherished grandfather whose life and legacy will continue through the family he loved. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Kaweah Delta Hospital for the kind and loving care they provided to Marshall.
A graveside service honoring both Marshall and Alma will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Exeter Cemetery.
