Mark Lambert Obituary

Mark Gregory Lambert, 62, of Exeter, California, passed away on February 21, 2026, in his hometown. Born on January 28, 1964, Mark lived a life full of passion, dedication, and love for his family and the world around him.

Mark graduated from Exeter High School before pursuing higher education at the University of California Santa Barbara, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in underwater marine welding. His career was as diverse as it was impressive. For 30 years, Mark worked in the dairy industry with Western Milling. Alongside this role, he spent 25 years as a dedicated citrus farmer and also managed several rental properties. His work ethic and determination were evident in every endeavor he undertook.

Mark’s personal life was equally vibrant. He had a deep love for music and taught himself to play the guitar. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and found peace fishing or walking along the beach in Cayucos with his beloved wife, Melissa. Traveling brought him joy, as did sharing laughter and beer with his closest friends. Mark’s passion for farming reflected his connection to the land and his appreciation for hard work.

Raised in the Baptist church, Mark’s faith was an important part of his life. In January 2026, he experienced a meaningful spiritual milestone when he was baptized—a moment that brought him great pride.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Lambert; his mother, Wanda Lambert; his sons Kaleb Lambert and Jonathan Lambert; and his daughter-in-law Samantha Lambert. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence Lambert. Mark also shared a special bond with Chiweenie, his faithful dog companion who brought him endless joy. Mark brought his family so much joy and laughter. His boys remember him as a loving, yet stern father, determined to raise good men. He was the kind of dad that you could call for advice, drink a beer with or go on an adventure with.

Those who knew Mark remember him as larger than life—fun-loving and always the life of the party. He was intelligent, tenacious, and driven to achieve whatever he set his mind to. His generosity and huge heart left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

May Mark’s memory bring comfort to those who loved him and inspire others to live with the same passion and kindness that defined his remarkable life.
