Marina Ortiz

Marina Ortiz, a longtime resident of Exeter, Ca, passed peacefully on April 10, 2024, in Lindsay, Ca at the age of 79. Marina is survived by her children Luis Ortiz, Elvin Ortiz, Maria Ortiz, Felix Ortiz, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

Marina was born on July 18, 1944, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Tomas Rosado and Leocadia Carmenaty. She was happily married to her partner in life, Luis Ortiz, for over 60 years and is now reunited with him. 

You could catch Marina on the dance floor, she had a passion for cooking, loved to tell stories, and to be surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marina had a bright, energetic personality and always had the biggest smile on her face. She especially will be remembered for touching many lives with her generosity and love. 

The viewing will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, rosary from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Smith Family Chapel in Exeter, Ca. 

Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, April 19, 2024. 8:30 am at Sacred Heart Church in Exeter, Ca.
