Marcellino Ruiz Salazar was born April 26, 1940 in Hanford, California to Luis and Mary Salazar. He passed away December 3, 2020 in Visalia, California at the age of 80. He was retired from Bekins Moving and Storage.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Ensminger-Salazar of Visalia, California and his three children, Lawrence (Laurie) Salazar of Clearwater, Minnesota, Barbara (Rick) Bentz of Hanford, California and Michelle (Chris) Tallman of Valley Springs, California, also step daughter Kathryn (Eugene) Lickey of Visalia, California. Also, numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. One brother Tomas (Delores) Salazar of Portland, Oregon, two sisters, Eloise Vega and Eleanor Ramsey both of Hanford, California. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Peter Salazar of Las Vegas, Nevada
Marcellino enjoyed reading his Bible and other devotional books. He prayed daily for his family, church and friends. He had previously been involved with the prison ministry in the Tulare County jails. Him and his wife had been helping to start the Goshen Community Church.
Graveside services will be held 10:30AM on December 15, 2020. Viewing will be held privately. Services have been entrusted to Smith Family Chapel of Exeter.
Covid safety will be encouraged as the event will be held outside.
