Kristina Marie Alequin

Kristina Marie (Alequin) Chavez, 37, of Visalia California, passed away in San Bernadino, Ca on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.  Many knew her as “TINA”.

She was born on July 3, 1982 in Newark, NJ and moved to California with her family at the age of 2.

She was full of life, loved singing and had an amazing, contagious laugh.  Many folks that knew her could tell you she made friends very easily and made an impression on them that lasted a lifetime.

She is preceded in death by her grandmothers Elisa Alequin and Lois Saliem, and survived by her mother Donna M. Lopez & stepfather Mike Lopez, her father Gregory Alequin Sr of Florida, her husband, Eliseo Chavez Jr, her children Bethany Lopez, Arianna N. Alequin and Jaden E. & Jonathan A. Chavez, her siblings Tanya Wilman of NJ, Gregory Alequin Jr, Steven Alequin and Nicole Alequin, all of Visalia and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
