Julia Garcia Obituary

Julia Estela Garcia (Stella to everyone who knew her) passed away March 27th at home in Farmersville, She was 83.
Stella was born in Mexico and moved to California in 1962. She met the love of her life  Richard Garcia and made their home in Farmersville where they raised their children. 
Her family included six daughters: Martha A. Flores, Irene Garcia, Nellie Willoughby, Liz Becerra, Becky Baker, Rosie Ramber. Three sons: Richard Garcia, Rudy Garcia, Tom Garcia. Four sisters: Christine Vega, Hilda Cavazos, Ida Garza, Nelia Flores. Two brothers:  Juan Hinojosa, Oscar Hinojosa. 26 Grandchildren, 38 Great-Grandchildren and 13 Great Great Grandchildren. 
Stella worked for Farmersville Unified School District for over 20 years and was also involved with the Farmersville Kiwanis. After retiring she enjoyed traveling with her husband, gardening, dancing and going to church, but most of all she most loved having her family gatherings in the backyard laughing and having fun. She will be truly missed. 
Rosary for Stella will be held Monday April 12th at 5pm Smith's Family Chapel and a graveside service on Tuesday April 13th 10am Exeter Cemetery.
