Joyce Pendergrass went to Heaven the evening of Dec. 27th.
We are thankful for the mercy our Lord extended to her,
giving her 91 blessed years. She was blessed with a wonderful husband, Larry, who adored her, and 4 ornery children.
She was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for all her kids…making healthy & fresh meals every day and homemade cookies by the dozens.
(She just recently discovered how all those cookies in the freezer disappeared so quickly. We sold them at school.)
Mom raised more “extra” kids than we can count and no one ever went hungry when she was around. She worked at PTA, did yard duty, directed fundraising events and school fairs. She never tired and always put others ahead of herself. And, yes, she had eyes in the back of her head. We all knew it!
As Director for Child Evangelism Fellowship, she and Dad loved on thousands of kids and showed them how much Jesus loved them.
ONE of Mom’s famous sayings was, “Remember who’s in charge.” Thank you, Mom, for reminding us that, even today, God is in control.
We’re so grateful you are with Jesus and slow dancing with Dad once again. Until we see you again…
Love you Mom!
