Jonathan Russell Rubalcava

A Tribute to our Beloved Son
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our cherished son, Jonathan Russell Rubalcava, who departed this world far too soon at the tender age of 20, on July 2, 2023.  Born on July 29, 2002, Jonathan was a shinning star from the very beginning. At a very early age he exhibited a big-happy personality, was very intelligent, cared deeply for others and loved music.  He was kind, compassionate and had a special way of connecting with people. He was an active member of The Ark Community Church in Visalia, California, frequently shared his faith with those he met in the community, his neighborhood, at work and abroad.  
Jonathan, an only child, leaves behind a heart broken family including his loving parents Sharyl Brannon-Rubalcava and Gilbert Rubalcava.  He was a cherished grandson, nephew, cousin and a friend to many who were touched by his faith filled presence.  His absence will be felt profoundly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  
As we mourn Jonathan, we take solace knowing he is resting in God's infinite love and grace, that we will see him again in the resurrection at the second coming of Jesus Christ and he no longer needs to fight the good fight of faith here on earth. 
In tribute to Jonathan a Celebration of Life Service will be held July 29, 2023 at 4 pm at The Ark Community Church 1625 E. Walnut Visalia, CA 93292. We invite all who were touched by Jonathan to join us and share their cherished memories of Jonathan during this service.
