Jo King Obituary

Jo Ellen King passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 95 on January 27, 2024. Born to the DeRossetts in Bear Creek, Missouri in 1928, Jo Ellen migrated with her family to California’s Central Valley to escape the dust bowl in 1937. In Exeter, CA, Jo married high school sweetheart Theodore “Ted” King, building a family together and living their entire lives there. An independent, family-oriented woman to the very end, she is survived by her children Sondra, Kurt, and Dave, her grandchildren Jason, Jennifer, Jeremy, Jered, and Jana, and her great-granddaughter Cecilia. The family will be holding a private celebration of life in her honor.
