Jeannie Shaw-Germaine Born on March 15, 1940 in Denver, CO. Daughter of an decorated Army Tank Commander in WWII, Jeannie went to elementary school in Germany before coming back to the United States for high school. After high school she attended nursing school in Nashville TN. She completed her Registered Nurse (RN) internship at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose, CA. There she met her husband of 60 years, Mike Germaine. They started a family in San Jose before moving to Visalia in 1976. There she raised two children, Michelle and Gary Germaine. She spent most of her career as a Tulare County Public Health Nurse, from where she retired in 2003. She moved to Exeter in 1998 to spend time with her grandchildren and do some hobby ranching. She was also very active in the Exeter Community where she had many friends. She is survived by her husband Mike Germaine, her daughter Michelle and her son-in-law Jay Haas, her son Gary and her daughter-in-law Amanda Germaine, and her grandchildren; Ty, Rachel, Donny, Grace and Clayton. She also is survived by an extended family through her sister Shirley Jorgensen and her brother Butch Shaw.
