Jack Wesly Miller of Exeter, California went to be with his Lord and savior on Tuesday January 25th after a battle with oral cancer at the age of 51. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jack was born on June 24th, 1970, in Downey, California to Jim Miller and Paula Diane Miller. Jack went to elementary school in Farmersville, California and attended high school in Exeter California (HOME OF THE MONARCHS) where he had a four-year journey through sports. Jack was a member of the 1988 championship baseball team which is also the year he graduated. After high school he was employed by Shell, and ultimately his career was based at Auto Oil Changers. At the age of 19 he met and fell in love with Loren Marie (Moye) Miller. They were married on October 3rd, 1992 and built their life together in Exeter California. They were blessed with their daughter Mallory Raelynn Miller in 1998 and ten years later their son Matthew David Miller in 2008. Following in his parents' footsteps, Jack opened his home to his children’s friends, and gained a bonus son, Eric Ryan Hurtado in the process.
He enjoyed the love of family and friends. He also enjoyed the solitude of his home after a hard day's work along with the very simple things in life. Jack was a very modest man who provided for his family.
His extended family and friends are filled with many stories, witty jokes, and his sense of humor brought joy into all their homes. Later in his life he found that his love for politics was very strong and found immense pride in being a republican. He had also found great faith in the Lord, though he was private with his faith, he always held God above all else.
One of the greatest blessings of Jacks life was becoming a father and instilling many life values into his children. His children and bonus child truly feel that when God was handing out fathers, God saved the best for them. He also adored all the pets who have wandered through his home across the years.
