Glenda Kay Champagne

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Glenda Kay Champagne on Monday, January 23 Glenda gained her angel wings. She passed away at the age of 70 at Saint Joseph's in Burbank, California she leaves behind three sons, Delwin Allen, of Porterville Ricky Martin,of Farmersville, and Reese Martin of Farmersville. She also leaves behind her beloved grandkids and great grandkids who she loved very much. Glenda was a kind soul who would help anyone she could. She loved her family and she loved her friends. Glenda was born in Louisiana and she loved her Cajun heritage. She loved talking to her kids and grandkids about her childhood in Louisiana, about eating the good Cajun food and surviving the hurricanes. Glenda also loved going on drives to the mountains and to the beach and spending time with family on those road trips. She loved watching football and listening to country music and Christian music. She loved Dwight Yoakam and she seen him several times in concert. She also loved her dog, Baby, like she was her child. Glenda’s time on earth was spent taking care of people. She helped raise several nieces of hers and grandkids. Glenda was always there when you needed her. Our family is deeply heartbroken and devastated but we know our mother grandmother, great grandmother aunt, sister and friend is no longer suffering as she walked through those pearly gates met by all her loved ones I know she is looking down proud of her family for being as strong as they can in this time. We will see you again, and we will rejoice in the name of Jesus Christ.
