Con profundo dolor compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido Gilberto Ramirez, quien partió de este mundo la noche del 9 de junio en Exeter, California, a la edad de 59 años.

Nacido el 4 de febrero de 1966 en Guerrero, México, Gilberto fue una persona que dejó una impresión duradera en todos los que lo conocieron. Trabajador incansable, hombre de familia dedicado y amigo verdadero, era conocido por su generosidad y su personalidad magnética. Tenía una forma especial de hacer sentir bienvenidos y valorados a todos—ya fuera un vecino, un compañero de trabajo o alguien que acababa de conocer. Para él, todos eran familia.

Gilberto dedicó su vida al trabajo agrícola y los fines de semana era vendedor en el remáte. Pero más allá del trabajo, lo que más valoraba eran las relaciones que construyó a lo largo de su vida. Su presencia era una fuente constante de alegría y fortaleza para quienes lo rodeaban.

Le encantaba asar carne asada para su familia, ir a ventas de garaje, y cuidar con esmero sus plantas de chiles—¡nadie podía tocarlas más que él! Era un apasionado seguidor del Club América y de la selección mexicana de fútbol. Su fe cristiana fue una parte central de su vida, y su familia atesora el crecimiento espiritual que presenciaron en él. Asistía a la Iglesia Esperanza y Vida, donde fortaleció su relación con Dios.

Gilberto estuvo casado con Teresa Andrade durante 34 maravillosos años. Juntos formaron una familia basada en el amor, la risa y los valores sólidos. Le sobreviven su esposa Teresa y sus hijos: Edgar, Giovanni y Areli. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Modesto y Guillermo. Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Ramon Ramirez y Senaida Cruz, y su hermano Jesús.

El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo el viernes 20 de junio a las 10:00 AM en el Cementerio del Distrito de Exeter. Todos los que conocieron y amaron a Gilberto están cordialmente invitados a asistir.

En lugar de donaciones, la familia agradece la entrega de flores, las cuales pueden llevarse al domicilio familiar.

El legado de amor, integridad y generosidad de Gilberto vivirá por siempre en su familia y en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Lo extrañaremos profundamente y lo recordaremos con cariño eterno.

In Loving Memory of Gilberto Ramirez

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Gilberto Ramirez, who left us on the evening of June 9th in Exeter, California, at the age of 59.

Born on February 4, 1966, in Guerrero, Mexico, Gilberto was the kind of person who made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was hardworking to the core, a devoted family man, and a true friend to all. Known for his generosity and magnetic personality, Gilberto had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and valued. Whether it was a neighbor, a coworker, or someone he had just met, he treated everyone like family.

Gilberto spent his life working in agriculture and, on weekends, as a vendor at the local swap meet. But beyond the labor, what he treasured most were the relationships he built along the way. His presence was a constant source of joy and strength to those around him.

He loved grilling carne asada for his family, finding treasures at yard sales, and tending to his beloved pepper plants—no one was allowed to touch them but him. Gilberto was a passionate supporter of Club América and the Mexican national soccer team, cheering them on with pride and excitement. His Christian faith was central to his life, and his family holds dear the growth they witnessed in his spiritual journey. He was a member of Iglesia Esperanza y Vida, where his faith deepened and flourished.

Gilberto was married to Teresa Andrade for 34 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and strong family values. He is survived by Teresa and their children: Edgar, Giovanni, and Areli. He is also survived by his brothers Modesto and Guillermo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Ramirez y Senaida Cruz, and his brother Jesús.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th at 10:00 AM at Exeter District Cemetery. All who knew and loved Gilberto are welcome to attend.

In lieu of donations, the family welcomes flowers, which may be delivered to the family home.

Gilberto’s legacy of love, integrity, and generosity lives on through his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
