Gaylene Call Jensen

We are grieved to announce the passing of our generous, thoughtful, and beloved mother, sister, and daughter, Gaylene Call Jensen, who peacefully passed on April 10, 2023. Our ever optimistic Gaylene had great love and gratitude for her Savior, Jesus  Christ. She loved listening to and making music, creating things with her hands, and serving others. She was clever, a problem solver, and never gave up, all of which were manifested through her 17 years as a Registered Nurse.  She had many friends all over the world, and was a diligent and dependable member of her community. She was predeceased by her eternal companion and husband, David Allen Jensen, her father, Clarence Eliason Call, and her dearly beloved sister, SuEllyn Call Mortensen. Gaylene is survived by her 5 children, Douglas Call Jensen, Michael Aaron Call Jensen, Amanda Flood, Scott Call Jensen, and Gene Call Jensen, by 14 remarkable grandchildren, her precious mother, Rita Mae Call, devoted sisters Jolene Elmer, and Fay Wassom, and her treasured brothers Christian Call, Benson Call, and Matiu Call. We are grateful for our time together and will miss her immensely. Until we meet again, Gaylene. We love you. Kia Kaha. Kia Maia. Kia Manawanui.
Visitation for Gaylene will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10:00 A.M., Directly following visitation the funeral service 11:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 601 N. B Street, Exeter.
