Joe (Butch) Lea Jr. 60 Visalia passed away on January 19, 2022 with his family by his side.
Butch was born on December 27, 1961 to Joe and Betty Lea in Hanford, CA.
Butch is survived by his greatest gift, his daughter Ashleigh Lea, his loving mother Betty Lea Sisters, Peggy Canafax, Sherry Smith (Steve), Pam Burger (Randy) and several nieces and nephews.
He attended Elbow Creek School, Valley Oak Middle School and Redwood High School.
Butch established and owned BL Equipment Rental and Supplies of Visalia. He spent a lot of his working time in San Jose Bay Area. On the weekends he loved to travel down the coast to Morro Bay and visit with his many friends. Butch was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed race day and travelling to Auto Club Speedway. He loved to cook and entertain. When he fired up the grill and BBQ you knew there was going to be feast. Butch loved life and was a practical joker you never knew what might be behind that smile and chuckle. Above all he loved his family.
Butch is proceeded in death by his dad Joe Lea Sr.
A graveside service will be held at Visalia District Cemetery on January 27, 2022 at 11:30 a.m.
