Billy See Obituary

It is with much sadness that Billy Ray See passed away at home on Thursday evening, November 21, 2024 at the age of 77.

 

Bill was born in Exeter, CA, on June 13, 1947 to Cecil See and Alice (Walker) See and grew up in Lemon Cove where he attended Sequoia Union Elementary School. Bill also attended Exeter Union High graduating in 1965.

 

Bill was a Volunteer Firefighter at the Lemon Cove Fire Station.  He worked on the Montgomery Ranch as a truck and tractor driver. He then became the maintenance and repair shop manager for Golden State Citrus Packers in Woodlake where he worked for 39 + years retiring in 2008.

 

Bill married his wife, Janice (Price) in 1969. They were blessed with a son, William Joseph See (wife) Susan, three grandsons: Cameron (wife) Kylie of Quitman, Tx, Dawson and Dylan of Exeter. And a Great grandson Brantley of TX. 

 

Bill was preceded in death by both parents,  his sister Willine (See) Marler of Willow Creek, CA and his older brother Robert See of Farmersville.

 

Bill is survived by two brothers: Phillip See of Visalia. Silas See of Sparks, NV and sister Rosie (See) Nielsen of Clear Lake, CA. And numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Bill loved riding his horses and packing his mules in the back country of the Sequoia Mtns. He served on the Board of Directors for 30+ years of the High Sierra Unit of Back Country Horsemen located in Visalia.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to your favorite charity. And per Bill's request, there will be no service.
