Anna Pauline Hembree

Anna Pauline Hembree. 

Known as Polly, she was born January 20,1942 in Exeter, CA and passed away on November 28, 2022 in Tulare, CA at the age of 80 years.  She was the daughter of Quinton Tunnell and Ida Catherine (Jones) Tunnell.  She attended Exeter schools and graduated from Exeter Union High School in 1959.  

In 1960 she married Norris Creveston and had three daughters whom have survived her – Kelly Mullinaux (Bernie), Catherine Korsgaden and Karen Creveston.  In 1991 she married Arthur Hembree and gained 3 step-daughters – Laura Reid, Lisa Conrad (Shaun) and Tricia Wimmer (Greg).  She is also survived by 15 grand-children and 7 great-grandchildren.  

She is survived by her husband, daughters and sister Naomi Noell and preceded in death by her parents, sisters Iona Estelle Tenney and Marilyn Lorraine Marshall and brothers Hollis Eugene Tunnell and James Albert Tunnell.  

Polly attended the Lindsay Christian Church and loved music and sang at church and any Handel’s Messiah sing along that were held.  She loved to crochet and made numerous new mothers baby blankets and crocheted beautiful table cloths and runners and afghans for friends and family.  

The family would like to thank the Exeter and Tulare Davita Dialysis Centers and the Tulare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Infinite Heart Hospice for the loving care they provided to her.
