Aaron Pettyjohn Obituary

Aaron Doyle Pettyjohn (39), beloved son, brother and friend, passed away Sunday October 9th 2022 in Visalia, CA. Aaron was born to loving parents, Doyle Pettyjohn and Sharon Spurrier on Nov 18th 1982 in Visalia, Ca. He was always a gifted student very early on, praised by many teacher's from an early age. Later attended Mt. Whitney High School graduating early. Aaron then attended COS for a short time while achieving the Dean's List before leaving to pursue more challenging opportunities.
Growing up he found a love of fishing with his father, his favorite fishing partner, whom Aaron always insisted on giving his catch (as he was the better fisherman, so he claimed). An avid offroad Motorcycle rider as well in his young age. With countless hours spent riding with close neighbors, family, and friends. A passion he carried well into adulthood with his street bike. He loved playing cards and dice with his many friends and family. Aaron won multiple online poker tournaments through the years pursuing his dream of playing in the World Series of Poker. A jack of all trades, the first person many people came to when they needed help.
He is survived by his father Doyle Pettyjohn and younger brother Justin Pettyjohn. Aaron has reunited with his mother Sharon Spurrier.
He is very loved and will be missed greatly by the many people he touched.
There will be a private family service at a later date. The family is asking that those who loved Aaron honor him in their own ways.
